DjangoCon is the first official international Django conference. It aims to bring together the community and provide a wide range of sessions, panels, lightning talks and showcases of Django usage within various businesses.

The first DjangoCon will be on September 6-7, 2008 in Mountain View, CA at the Googleplex. We are working with the Google Open Source Team to provide the first conference for free. There will also be a Django 1.0 release party on September 6th, 2008. We will be asking for an optional donation to the Django Software Foundation to help cover our costs.

Ticket release dates and times will be announced soon. When the tickets are available a link will be provided on this site to the registration area. We will also be releasing more venue, location and conference information over the next few days.

The event will be recorded and made available for those who can't make it.
