This Saturday, we are proud to present a very special live video mashup set from UK-based DVJ mixing pioneers, Eclectic Method. Widely recognized as some of the best VJs in the world, they'll be mixing and mashing video, LIVE and on the fly, armed only with two DVDJ decks and a video mixer. In the upstairs room, it's our monthly Electro-Bootie, with guest DJ Twisted Scissor. And for the midnight mashup show, burlesque artist Rose Pistola will perform as the sexiest octopus you've ever seen. And, oh yeah, it's DJ Mysterious D's birthday! Here are all the details...

Bootie is proud to present a very special audio-visual VJ mashup set featuring Jonny Wilson from UK video mashup pioneersEclectic Method. Dubbed "the future of nightclub entertainment", their fans read like a 'Who's Who' of musical innovation and they have been recognized as punk innovators for the 21st century. They've created video remixes for The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Dizzee Rascal, The White Stripes, M.I.A., and U2, amongst others.

Eclectic Method don't just mix videos like DJs mix records, it goes a step beyond ... take a healthy dollop of post-modern irony, a Britney sample here, an indie-rock riff there, an electronic dance anthem or two and a peppering of pop classics and you're on your way to understanding the Eclectic Method style. Top that off with some rare hip-hop and film action mania and you've got an all-encompassing audiovisual show shuffling together mainstream and underground to create a live visual improvised remix experience.

2005's "We're Not VJs" was the world's first DVJ video-mixtape and was phenomenally received. Their second mix album, "Lock Up Your Videos," was released earlier this year, and with their ongoing remix projects and video podcasts, they continue to push the boundaries of mashup culture.

Midnight mashup show starring: ROSE PISTOLA

ROSE PISTOLA is one of San Francisco's most creative burlesque dancers, and this Saturday, she'll be making her midnight mashup show debut at Bootie with an octopus-themed number, performing to the DJ Lobsterdust classic Blondie vs. Beatles mashup, "Glass Octopus." Don't miss this!

Upstairs room: ELECTRO-BOOTIE with TWISTED SCISSOR

Electro DJ TWISTED SCISSOR makes her Bootie debut this Saturday, as it's time for another round of ELECTRO-BOOTIE, our monthly "club-within-a-club" that features all those big thumpy electro bootlegs, electro remixes, and electro covers, that you know we love. Your resident DJs Adrian & the Mysterious D will be joining her on the decks to play some much-loved electro, so get ready to get down!

It's MYSTERIOUS D's birthday!
A+D and DADA on the main floor

Resident DJ and Bootie mastermind MYSTERIOUS D will be celebrating her b-day this Saturday, and she's gonna make sure you ALL "party like it's her birthday!" She'll will be throwing down a special mashup set on the main floor, as well an electro bootleg set in the upstairs room as well.

DJ DADA will be kicking the night off, and ADRIAN will be spinning in and around, upstairs and downstairs, and probably even dropping a slew of brand-new mashups to keep your asses shakin'!

As always, we've got free Bootie CDs to the first 100 people!
