Lloyd Thayer plays lap style blues on a 1920 National tricone squareneck resonator guitar. His powerful vocals, harmonica and slide playing are truly one of a kind. Thayer was chosen by The Boston Blues Society to represent them at the 2003 Intl. Blues Challenge in Memphis.. He has written hundreds of songs and shares a vast knowledge of American folk. This gifted songwriter and musician brings a warmth and intimacy to the stage.
