Over two hundred years ago, French citizens stormed the Bastille prison in order to fight for their independence. This Saturday, July 14th, storm the doors of Hotel Americano to “Dine Like The French” at The Americano and “Party Like The New Yorker” at La Piscine! The hip West Chelsea restaurant is hosting a four course prix-fixe dinner paired with luxurious Billecart-Salmon Champagne ($120 per person) prepared by celebrated French Michelin star Chef Thomas Boullault, who is traveling all the way from the renowned Restaurant L’Arome in Paris! Up on the roof, La Piscine is throwing an all-day party with a special guest DJ from 12pm to 12am.
Chef Boullault is honoring French tradition with his Pressé de Homard appetizer, sumptuous lobster medallions with ponzu sauce and diced avocado drizzled with a mango and passion fruit vinaigrette, paired with Billecart Extra Brut, NV. For the fish course, diners will be served a delicious Bar de Ligne, striped bass served with miso viennoise, green asparagus and a citrus reduction alongside a glass of Billecart-Salmon Brut, NV, en magnum biensur! Guests will then move on to Chef Boullaut’s delectable Organic Chicken with a chanterelles mushroom fricassee and creamy risotto, topped with a yellow wine sauce and accompanied by a glass of Billecart-Salmon Blanc de Blancs. End your meal on a sweet note with the Pistachio Napoleon topped with strawberry sorbet and fresh market strawberries while enjoying a flute of Billecart Rose, NV. Close out the night by dancing until dawn on the fabulous rooftop bar La Piscine, where all kinds of entertainment will be provided, including a DJ who will be playing the favorites from 12pm to 12am.
