In exactly one week we are holding our first annual "CAMP FLICKR" event here in Allegany State Park. It all started 3 months ago in an innocent bird photo ( albino field sparrows ). Feel free to read how it progressed into this amazing event that is being planned. Quickly the www.campflickr.com webpage was developed by Jason and dates were discussed. From the forecast and reports, it was cold, rainy and even snowy! Otherwise i might have had better luck finding others from Rochester to go.

jlam - You missed a good time and we are 60+ miles south of Buffalo and when they were getting all the snow we were enjoying the campfire! Most all of the photos from the group were already uploaded to http://www.flickr.com/groups/campflickr/ site. I think we are still waiting for the flickr swag they promiced for setting up this page! We only submitted this 3 months in advance! But, I do need to give a heads up for adding this event to the flickr blog.
