Organizing Meeting for Salt Lake City Supporters
Saturday February 17, 2007 at 2:00pm
Salt Lake City Library - Conf. Room D
210 East 400 South
Salt Lake City, Utah Get Directions
EVENT UPDATE: The library was apparently unable to process our application in time to allow us use of a room tomorrow. This means we'll need to use the alternate location of the Gallivan Center at 239 South Main Street, downtown.

We are supposed to have fairly nice weather, so I do not anticipate any issues with the outdoors location. Parking map here:

http://www.ci.slc.ut.us/PublicServices/Gallivan/parkingmap.pdf

We can count on using the library for the meeting in two weeks, because I did receive confirmation that our group will qualify.

Parking is free for two hours on Saturday for metered parking spaces downtown. Parking locations vary, but the location we'll use is the "Grassy Area" on 200 S, between State and Main. Please call 755.3974 if you cannot find us.

The purpose of this meeting is to gather ideas for organizing. How do we get Barack Obama's message out to Utah? And how are we going to organize ourselves? Discussion on this topic has been going on through the Utah for Obama group and my blog. Feel free to join in that discussion. Please bring your ideas with you this weekend, along with your opinions. :)
