Although not a Schwenkfelder, George de Benneville is an intriquing personage among the Schwenkfelders. The Universalist minister and medical practitioner lived in Oley Valley, Berks County. He was an aquaintance of Schwenkfelder medical practioner Abraham Wagner and met the Schwenkfelders in Altona in 1734 as they were on their way to Pennsylvania.
