The Monteverdi Singers from Moravian College
A brief history of Schwenkfelder hymns and religious music will be presented with choral examples by the Monteverdi Singers from Moravian College under the direction of Dr. Larry Lipkis. The music will range from the time of Caspar Schwenckfeld (1490-1531) to hymns from the music notebook of eleven year old Anthony Schultz (1820-1848). The program features original texts and music from the Archives of the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center.
