The Hammer Museum's Screen Sirens of the '20s series concludes this week with Fritz Lang's infamous sci-fi parable, Metropolis. With what is surely the most appropriately mechanical performance of the decade, Brigitte Helm's sexy art deco robot provides one of cinema's most indelible images.
