Volunteers within the community will be hosting the second annual Celebrate Spot event, a walk benefiting Siteman Cancer Center’s Young Women’s Breast Cancer Program. Participants may bring their pooch and partake in a one-mile fun walk or 5K walk through scenic Forest Park on the morning of Sunday, Oct. 12.

After strolling through the park, patrons are welcome to enjoy lunch and many dog-friendly festivities at the “Celebrate Spot Post-Party.” Fun and games will include a stupid pet tricks contest, “PAWty” pictures of participants and their pet, and more.

Check-in and registration will begin at 8 a.m. in the upper Muny parking lot in Forest Park, and the walk will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. Lunch and festivities will follow.
