Center for the Performing Arts @ Penn State
Corner Shortlidge and Eisenhower Roads
University Park, Pennsylvania 16802 Get Directions
Eisenhower Auditorium

The swinging Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra features fifteen of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. If one person embodies the past, present, and future of jazz, it’s surely orchestra leader Wynton Marsalis. The New Orleans-born-and-bred trumpeter, composer, artistic director, and educator has performed four times with the orchestra before large and appreciative Eisenhower Auditorium audiences. Jazz at Lincoln Center, which Marsalis directs, has become the world’s foremost cultural and educational resource devoted to jazz. Its famous orchestra entertains and enlightens in New York City, across the United States, and around the globe.
