The deepest essence of Yoga spirituality is what is known in the ancient Sanskrit language as bhakti, or devotional consciousness. Bhakti is neither a sect, nor a sentiment, but a science of Divine love! The primary textbook that reveals this powerful science of devotional consciousness is known as the Narada Bhakti Sutras, written by the world-famous Vedic sage Narada Muni. The legendary Narada Muni was one of the most prolific and mysterious sages in the history of Indian spirituality. The book we will be studying is considered to be his greatest spiritual masterpiece, and has only very rarely been taught anywhere in America.
In this multi-week course, we will be uncovering the teachings of this important sacred book in an in-depth, systematic and vividly experiential way. The teacher is Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya, one of the foremost authorities on the Yoga of devotional consciousness.
This open-ended class will be approximately 6-10 weeks long. Course materials will be provided.
