1. The NOVAMEN are the Dutch Masters of the Vocoder and the 808. With sold out releases on cult record labels VIEWLEXX, MURDER CAPITAL, and BUNKER, regular rotation on the world famous CYBERNETIC BROADCASTING SYSTEM, and leaving large groups of people to pick their jaws up off the floor at DEMF and all over NYC, DJ Overdose and Mr. Pauli will deliver tough lessons and ancient wisdom using the only genuine, government-approved electro machines sent here by extraterrestrial time-travelers.
2. Ever wondered who makes those wicked beats for the Hague rappers? DJ OVERDOSE is the guy. As the resident DJ at Netsotov, the Hague’s only all hip-hop coffeeshop, he has scratched his way across Europe. Old School never stopped for DJ OVERDOSE – hip-hop has simply been a continuous stream of electronic funk from 1982 to the present. Come see some truly underground hip-hop.
3. Joining the Novamen and DJ Overdose is Manhunter, which is difficult to describe. Imagine a couple of DC punks making heavy electro disco records to be shipped back to 1985 and played on WBMX by Farley Jackmaster Funk. It’s that good. And you can really dance to it.
4. Furthermore, RON MORELLI will be playing a special DJ SET of music you’ve been waiting your whole life to hear, although you may not have known it until now. His REAGAN DISCO HEADACHE, 976 and PARADISE parties up in PHILADELPHIA are so legendary, that people would drive from New York on a Saturday night to attend. No fooling. A regular DJ for the DFA, Ron’s first 12” was released on JET SET RECORDS (JAPAN) in February. If it’s cool in Japan... well, you know the rest.
5. And PUSH-BUTTON ACTION MAN graces us with his presence with a special, rare live set!
6. BONUS! By lucky coincidence, HELLO STRANGER will also be playing a live set of incredible synth-pop-funk – same night, same place, different tour. But we love them all the same. They not only make great music, they look like rock stars. You should come see them live before they make it big.
