This is the event organization part of the Flickr Meet - Columbus Flickr group. The group is for anyone in central Ohio who wants to meet up with other Flickr folks...

Purpose: We all live in the Columbus area, we all take photos, and we all use Flickr. This is a chance for us regardless of skill level or equipment (from camera phones to big SLR camera, digital or film) to all get together and take photos, learn from each other and make new friends. This is during out to be a very social group and our events are very easy going and fun.

This group is where meetup plans are developed, communicated, etc. This is also the place where we can post photo's from the meetup and photo stroll events.

We try to have at least one or two events per month, usually some type of photo stroll (less in the winter/more in the summer), and we occassionally have social meet up's where people can just hang out and get to know each other (camera's of course are always welcome)
