About Texas Motion Picture Alliance (TXMPA)
The Texas Motion Picture Alliance (TXMPA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization founded in Austin on June 16, 2006 that is committed to building a strong community of industry professionals.
For over 80 years Texas has been in the production business. In recent years however, we've watched our healthy industry decline and many of our crew and talent have moved to work in in our neighboring states. TXMPA's goal is to draft legislation that can put Texas back on the production map. Of course, getting our bills passed will be the hard part. This will require the support of everyone who works and believes in our industry!!
If you want to help, then please register. You can do this by going to txmpa.org and clicking on the link at the top, "JOIN." (It's FREE.)
Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate. No amount is too small. Funding is used for lobbyists to work on our industry's behalf during the legislative session, as well as for routine operating expenses, such as printing, copying, postage.
You may also donate to TXMPA by using PayPal. Go to txmpa.org and click on the "DONATE" button at the top.
By encouraging industry companies to support TXMPA, organizing fundraisers, or even just spreading the word, together we can show our support for the Film, Video, Interactive & Video Game industries in Texas.
