John Starling and Carolina Star will be performing @ the Birchmere, Feb. 23rd. The Birchmere is where it all started for John and the guys so it's great for them to be getting back to their roots.

Carolina Star is the newest incarnation of a musical partnership that stretches back more then 30 years - when John Starling (guitar, vocals), Mike Auldridge (Dobro, lap steel,
vocals) and Tom Gray (bass, vocals) first began playing together as the Seldom Scene and their seminal work from that period influenced a whole generation of musicians, including Emmylou Harris and Ricky Skaggs.
