Plans for Limerick OpenCoffe Club?

Please use this topic to discuss how you'd like to see OpenCoffee Club Limerick developing? Should the focus be on broader entrepreneurial issues like tax, grants, office space, time management, etc. or developing business ideas together? Or should it be both?

Secondly, what frequency of meeting is best? Can we sustain fortnightly meetings? Or would monthly be more realistic?

Ideas? Suggestions?

It'd be a good idea to take a different topic for each coffee meeting - Keeping informal but giving a direction to the discussion - Attendees could also do a quick once off presentation on what they're working on. (only one 10min presentation per meeting) - We can decide on topics and presentations here or on the ning page.

If we wish to continue using the Clarion hotel, we can make it more official so that the staff there know who we are and can direct people to us. We could also look for some sponsorship from them (I can look into it if there is an interest?). We could also send a short press release to local newspapers, create some buzz and attract new entrepreneurs.

Donncha also offered to organise meetings in the EAC once the wireless bradband is set up (summer) - There is a cafe, a reception area and a large meeting room that Donncha would make available. With the attendees growing in numbers, this would allow people to break up in smaller groups.

Finally I think Monthly meetings are the best option.
