My name is Pete Hindle and I'm the co-founder of an email group for digital artists in the Newcastle area. You can check out our email group at

We are mainly focused on art, but there are programmers and web developers in our midst as well. In combination with other artists groups in the area, we try and arrange for things to do - like your upcoming meet at Tilly's. Last year we where really lucky, and got some funding to go to Berlin for the Transmediale festival of New Media Art.

Also coming up very soon is Connecting Principles, which is the first event that Newcastle Universities CultureLab are involved with that's really open to the public. They have a swish website at http://www.ncl.ac.uk/connectingprinciple which is probably a better introduction to that project.
