David Gurteen recently mentioned the German concept of „Stammtisch“ in his newsletter.

„A Stammtisch is a table in a pub or restaurant reserved for regular customers ... and creating tables in bars, cafes and large conferences etc where people can sit if they wish to have conversations with strangers.“

Would be great if we can establish an „upcoming KM Group“-Stammtisch at the events. In the cafeteria, foyer or somewhere else. We should ask the organizers to provide a place for that.

Apart from meeting there we could also gain new members offline at the events, with some promotional material. I primarly think about a visible place card and flyers shelved on the table. Maybe we can get some financial support from yahoo for that.
