I created this group because I want to create a central spot where people can go to find coworking events around Atlanta as they're organized.

Because it's difficult to find a spot that's agreeable to everyone around Atlanta, having a number of groups around the city that post event information to a single place seems like the best way to start creating a strong coworking community.
