I've been making a lot of updates to Exploit Boston's internet radio station. All the music on the station features Boston bands (past and present) on unsigned and independent labels (well, for the most part -- there are a few non-indies that I've snuck in or who aren't technically from or directly in Boston, but I digress.)
You might not know a lot of the bands if you don't go out to see local rock shows all that often (or obsessively search for Boston bands on MySpace) ... but, I think you just might like the music if you are a fan of the general categories of indie rock, pop and alternative.
The station has been online since April 2003. It's an MP3 stream so you can listen with your own MP3 player such as iTunes or Winamp. There's also a player available from Live365.com, the lovely people who broadcast the station.
