There really is a Santa Claus! OK. I have no idea who Jen is, but the luminaries on this list make it clear that this event is not to be missed. And what better way to breathe a little before being mauled by relatives and consumers this season than by spending some quality time with the fine tweeple of Boston? I'm in.
Hi friends - I fear I will not be coming to Boston after all due to a health issue. I am flattered and sad at the same time that so many of you were willing to come out (I know not all of you were coming for me!). I will make it out there after the first of the year and hope to meet you all then. Enjoy the party!
So sad we won't be able to meet you in person Jennifer! Please rest and enjoy your holidays. I still expect to see everyone else there to celebrate the holidays with us and help support @stales and the fight against cancer. Donations are not required to come - the event is free, but they are appreciated!
This ought to be an interesting evening. From the San Jose Merc: Tonight's full moon, nearly as close as it ever comes to Earth in its orbit, will loom especially large — 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than other full moons this year. In fact, "this evening's moon is not only the largest for 2008 but also during the period 1993-2016," said astrophotographer Anthony Ayiomamitis.
