Related Tags, MovableType Plugin, and More Libraries
We've added support for related tags, and our wonderful users created a MovableType plugin and API clients for Python, Java, and Ruby.
Related Tags
Every tag page now displays a list of related tags. For example, take a look at electronica, politics, and computers. As more people tag their events, the related tags will continue to get more relevant and useful for everyone.
MovableType Plugin
The multi-talented Greg Knauss, creator of the WebService::Upcoming Perl client for Upcoming, just released a flexible and easy-to-use plugin for MovableType 2 and 3. MT-Upcoming is well documented with several examples, so please let us know if you start using it on your own site!
Client Libraries
The list of API libraries has grown quickly... Jay Graves contributed libraries for both Python and Java, and Derek Greentree contributed a Ruby library. Daniel O'Connor, author of the PHP library, made a nice tutorial for getting started with Upcoming.org in PHP. Huge thanks to all the developers for their amazing work.
