3/9 Update:Whoa, we reached our maximum attendence limit the other day. Feel free to 'watch' the event and we'll see what we can do (same w/ people with badges), but unfortunately, things will be a madhouse since we'll be at capacity (and we definitely don't want to get shut down by the fire marshall!)

You can put yourself on there, but to be perfectly honest, you probably won't get in. We'd love to have everyone who wants to attend to be able to, but the laws of physics are working against us here.

I do want to welcome you and some of the new users who've just recently joined. Be sure to add some metros and maybe watch some of the calendars of some interesting people in your area. We're working really hard to make the experience better and easier for new users, but if you poke around a bit, we think you'll find it worthwhile.
