Nov 23, 2009: Sponsorship Measurement Workshop at Holiday Inn Atrium, Singapore

In this ‘tight budget’ era, corporations are seeking more certainty and results to measure sponsorship as part of the overall marketing communications toolkit. Traditional reliance on sponsor recall and valuations of media exposure are simply insufficient to hold up for detailed scrutiny, and companies expect a lot more justification for their marketing expenditure. Also, the sponsorship industry no longer falls behind in terms of sophistication with their advertising cousins, showing clear signs that the value of sponsorship is improving. The changing marketing paradigm and the continual emergence of new media and channels thus facilitate a greater focus on the industry’s ‘biggest issue’ – Measuring the return on investment (ROI) of sponsorship campaigns.

Is your company utilising measurement as a tool for decision making and overall strategy?
Do you know how to qualify your sponsorship dollars from both a property & sponsors point of view?
Are you able to holistically measure & capture all returns from the multiple benefits of sponsorship?

Join us at this distinguished 2-day workshop on “Sponsorship Measurement” to debunk the often held view that sponsorship cannot be measured. Lynne will demonstrate that not only can we track and evaluate sponsorship performance, but the tools and methodologies used are similar to those being applied to other marketing mediums. Packed with real-life case studies and interactive exercises, you will learn the measurement needs of both sides of the partnership – Rightsholders and Sponsoring Brands across sport, arts, music, community, or bespoke event industries.

Nov 11, 2009: Social Media: Behind the Scenes at TBC

The ADMA is pleased to present the first in a series of events on social media. Learn about the secret side of social media:

* how much time people are spending on social networks?
- Are people more active on these sites at home or work? How many average minutes per user? What is the demographic information on social networkers? Which age group tends to be the most avid users? Gain a 360 degree view of social networkers. Develop a better understanding of just how social networking is revolutionising how time at work is spent.

* accountable social media marketing via social CRM
- The biggest challenges brands face today when considering a social media presence are "do I have the resources to manage it?" and "how can I make this an accountable channel like the rest of my marketing mix?". The marketing approach towards social media can be much more than simply listening to the buzz.

* ways to monitor social media
- Monitoring social media allows you to gain significant intelligence about your customers and marketplace; begin interaction with existing and potential customers through new touch points as well as increasing involvement between your brand and your customers to enable a wide range of marketing benefits.

Mar 1, 2010: Military Robotics at Orchard Hotel, Singapore

Militaries around the world have realised the effectiveness of utilising unmanned vehicle systems (UVS) in the battlefield. Robots today are replacing humans in performing the three D’s of military missions: Dull, Dirty and Dangerous, and dramatically reducing costs and casualties of war. As more unmanned systems are being developed and deployed, militaries need firsthand information on new technologies being used, and discuss vital issues that arise from the “Robotic Revolution” in today’s warfare.

Military Robotics will be discussing the fast-growing industry of unmanned systems. It will bring together military personnel, ranging from technology experts to operators. Participants will be able to get firsthand information on new technologies and discuss vital issues that arise in robot usage.

Dec 1, 2009: Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Workshop at Holiday Inn Atrium, Singapore

"Employee engagement communications are as relevant to companies on the path to recovery as they are when companies are in the midst of structural change or retrenchments."
Asia is being touted as a critical market to lead the recovery. While many companies here have communicated to employees the measures they are taking to stay afloat, few have really taken the next step – articulating their vision for the future and engaging employees in this process. Surviving employees are expected to remain productive while operating in a business environment that requires new behaviours and new ways of thinking.

This absence of a dynamic effective employee communications strategy in a time of tremendous global uncertainty has led to what is being coined the “corporate culture crunch”.
This 1-day Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Workshop is designed for you to understand how employee engagement communications can be a critical and strategic tool on the path to recovery. It will focus on both the principles and practicalities of planning, implementing and measuring effective internal communications and employee engagement campaigns.
