The last (2007) event featured an expanded format with activities (buskers, dance lessons, children's activities, pancake breakfast) beginning at 8:30 am on Spadina Crescent (north of the Delta Bessborough Hotel) all the way up to and including the Ukrainian Museum of Canada.

In 2008 the morning will be organized similarly. From noon onward activities will continue in the traditional manner south of the hotel. Featured are the all-day stage show, beer garden, Ukrainian food, children's activities, cultural displays, giant balloon launch and a grass dance with live music. All these components provide an enjoyable family experience,

Patrons relax in the beer garden, or on the lawn, in the shade of huge elm trees where every seat accords an excellent view of the performers on stage with the jade-coloured water of the South Saskatchewan gently flowing by in the background.

Admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

These 3 items are three of the restaurant’s house favorites. “A Taste of Saskatchewan” sells food tokens to the public for $2.00 each. These food tokens are then exchanged at the restaurant for their desired food items. The SIGA Enchanted Forest is a unique Drive-thru Christmas Light Display that winds through an actual Forest, utilizing huge illuminated evergreens as backdrops for a collection of computer animated light displays including the new Fireworks display and the popular Twelve days of Christmas. The combination makes the SIGA Enchanted Forest one of the best displays in Canada. Close to 60,000 visitors view the spectacular displays every year.
