Like a beach-side bonfire celebrating the last days of summer, Driftwood Fire is at once invitingly lighthearted and poetically poignant. Lynn Scharf's vocals are thick with emotional. Charlotte Formichella's guitar and banjo parts are rootsy, inventive and pop-tastically ear-pleasing, making it nearly impossible to stay seated during songs like 'Blown Asunder' and 'Holes in the Sky,' while songs like 'Appalachian Hills' have a lyrical magnetism that leave every room entirely focused on the performance at hand.

Coined as 'melodic indie folk pop, Driftwood Fire's song, "Appalachian Hills" won First Place in the 2007 International Narrative Song Competition and is also being considered for use on PBS's Road Trip Nation. They are a 2007 Denver Blue Note singer/songwriter finalist, a VH-1 Suggested Artist and are included on the 'Best of Live at Lunch" compilation CD from KRFC 88.9FM, a local radio station in Fort Collins, Colorado, Driftwood Fire's home town.

Lynn Scharf - vocals and guitar - After ten years of operatic training and performance, Lynn, began focusing on jazz, folk, and pop music. She began writing and performing contemporary folk and pop; exploring varied vocal techniques and experimenting with song and lyric writing. Lynn has won international recognition for her songs.

Charlotte Formichella - guitars, banjo, backing vocals. Charlotte picked up the guitar at age 14 and was largely self-taught early in her career. She spent her childhood in rural Virginia, where she was exposed to bluegrass and traditional folk influences. Charlotte is one of the primary songwriters and has expanded her performance repertoire to include banjo and hollow-body electric guitar. Charlotte also studies cello and violin.

Tucker'd Out is a collection of three brothers in music - Jeff "Petey" Petrik and John and Lynn Trelstad. They may have "been around" awhile, but their passion for great music and great lyrics just keeps getting stronger. Although they listen to and appreciate a wide range of music, the music they perform - with acoustic instruments - fits somewhere into that mixed-breed Americana, bluegrass, traditional country, folk, roots and blues category. Flat top guitars, upright bass, mandolin and harp (as in harmonica) are fun, but so are the two and three part harmonies in virtually all the songs they do. Aside from having a great time (which they take very seriously), their mission in music life is to give voice to performers and songwriters who deserve a wider following and routinely urge the audience to check out those lesser known musicians and storytellers.

Be prepared to hear music you've not heard before…as a new Tucker'd Out fan exclaimed one night, "You guys play music I didn't know I loved!"

Her parents are hosting the annual family Christmas party. The last to arrive is the toymaker and magician Godfather Drosselmeyer. Drosselmeyer has brought many gifts of toys, puppets, and three life-sized dolls for the children, and a big hand-made wooden Nutcracker in the shape of a soldier, for Clara. Her naughty brother Fritz, steals the Nutcracker and breaks it. After Drosselmeyer repairs the Nutcracker, it is time for the guests to depart. When everyone has gone to bed, Clara comes downstairs to view the Nutcracker under the tree. She then falls asleep and has a fantastic dream. An army of mice led by their Mouse King emerge. The Nutcracker summons his army of soldiers to battle with the mice. The Nutcracker falls, and just as the Mouse King is about to do away with him, Clara saves him by striking the Mouse King with her slipper. The battle is then won by Clara and the soldiers. At intermission, Angels and Angel Helpers come on stage.

Part II- The Nutcracker Prince brings Clara to the Kingdom of Sweets for some entertainment. First is the Spanish, followed by the Arabian, Chinese, Russian, Tarantella, Flutes, Flowers, and Sugar Plum dances and Madame Bon Bon with her Candies. Clara awakens near the Christmas tree and sees her wooden soldier Nutcracker and realizes it was all just a dream.

Her parents are hosting the annual family Christmas party. The last to arrive is the toymaker and magician Godfather Drosselmeyer. Drosselmeyer has brought many gifts of toys, puppets, and three life-sized dolls for the children, and a big hand-made wooden Nutcracker in the shape of a soldier, for Clara. Her naughty brother Fritz, steals the Nutcracker and breaks it. After Drosselmeyer repairs the Nutcracker, it is time for the guests to depart. When everyone has gone to bed, Clara comes downstairs to view the Nutcracker under the tree. She then falls asleep and has a fantastic dream. An army of mice led by their Mouse King emerge.
