This working conference analyzes the concept of usability in social, cultural and organizational contexts. Analyzing usability in context is important for connecting empirical work analysis and interaction design. In industry, a wealth of usability evaluation methods is used to evaluate computer software user interfaces and other interactive products: Inspection methods, Workplace observation, Think-Aloud Usability Test, etc. These techniques often give - seemingly - similar results when applied in diverse social, cultural and organizational settings, but experience shows that we need a deep understanding of the cultural, social and organizational context to interpret the results, and to transform it into interaction design.

The working conference will present current research into and industrial experiences with usability as a way of connecting empirical work analysis and interaction design, with a special focus on contexts in India. Cultural usability is a comprehensive concept which adheres to all kinds of contexts in which humans are involved (private family, work, public and private organizations, nature and climate, technological, etc.).

The purpose of the working conference is to enable practitioners and researchers to analyze the concept of usability and how it can be used to connect empirical work analyses and interaction designs in different contexts. The working conference presentations and discussions will be published in a book in the Springer IFIP series.

The recent (re)turn to the study of emotion in literary studies invites a reconsideration of the Gothic as a mode that relies on the emotional response of those who are confronted with the uncanny and who, as a result, experience fear.

The ways in which writers represent emotional response and immediacy is central to understanding the Gothic as a force that transcends and transmutes culturally enforced structures of (self-) control and the fashioning of gender roles and stereotypes.

From extensive phantasmagoric descriptions of imagined encounters with the fear-inspiring "other" to the actual (infectious) touch and the consequent sensations experienced through this Gothic encounter, the human subject becomes a resonance body as well as a container of emotion
the latter of which through fear and the uncanny overflows spontaneously and cathartically releases emotional response.

This international conference on "Gothic Sensations - Sensational Gothic" aims to explore the complex fields of emotion in Gothic and sensation fiction from 1765 to 1900. The organizer invites proposals (max. 300 words) for 20-minute papers on any aspect of the conference theme. It is
planned to publish revised and expanded versions of selected papers.

and we have had some very interesting investigations and experiences. As our ongoing research
continues with every investigation, new theories and hypothesis have been tested and concluded as we have had many successful breakthroughs occur with the use of custom equipment. The T.Az.P.R.S. team
