Nani del jazz suonano Brassens è un quartetto di recente fondazione costituito da giovani di differenti origini anagrafiche e musicali che si propone di ripercorrere, a trent'anni dalla morte del cantautore francese, una scelta del suo repertorio in chiave jazzistica, sulle orme di quei "Giants of Jazz" che proprio nel 1979 furono protagonisti di una memorabile reinterpretazione che coinvolse lo stesso Brassens nella sua ultima registrazione. Con un simile punto di riferimento, l'intento principale del gruppo è quello di incrementare la mai sufficiente diffusione di questi brani che, oltre a costituire un caposaldo nella storia del cantautorato novecentesco, rivelano anche nella dimensione più propriamente musicale una ricchezza inesauribile.

I Klein Blue fanno pop. Fine.
Quale descrizione migliore di questa? Il loro primo EP “Fertilizzafrasi” è un esordio di buona qualità, con alla base un pop solare e divertente.
Sei brani genuini e leggeri, veloci come le nuvole sospinte dal vento di una giornata di inizio autunno, anche se il loro sound è più assimilabile alla primavera, quando i colori ammazzano il grigiore invernale.
A volte la voce femminile stride e fa scintille rispetto alla sezione ritmica, non facendoci gustare appieno la melodia (ad esempio è troppo alta in alcuni punti della sognante open track “Forse anche sotto”).
Buon pop a tutti. Qui c’è la robba bbuona."
