There will be lots of free carnival games, free food, and the band Altar will be providing music for us. Ben is leaving the country, heading off for a bit of an adventure, eight hours in the past.

Come partake in this two day celebration of existence, relish the contribution made to your lives, indulge in this departure, or just enjoy the fact you won't be getting pushed into another one of these events promoted by overly elaborate invitational text ever again… at least until a future return to England.

This is a two day celebration:

On Saturday 26th, meet at a pub in central London from 2pm onwards. Have some lunch, share some beers, enjoy the sunshine*, have some dinner… it's not a hectic schedule. Later on, we might go find a club somewhere. Or we'll just go home, cram as many people into our living room as the foundations will allow, and play Mario Kart, Bomberman and Worms until morning light.

On Sunday 27th, meet at The Dove on Broadway Market, near London Fields and do pretty much the same thing, but in a more relaxed, wind down, way.

KAWEH - LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO CD/DVD COMBO RELEASE
The long anticipated live album with an international all star line up of musicians and dancers has come to fruition with an added live multi camera DVD.

Fans of all walks of life, at every show ask, "what album is that song on?" "When will it be released?" Songs like "Marina" by Rocco Granata, "Parla Piu Piano" (from the movie "Godfather" by Nino Rotta), Cumbanchero (Rafael Hernandez) and Cancion del Mariachi (from the movie "Desperado" by Cesar Rosas) have long been anticipated.

It has been seven years and four albums since Kaweh released a vocal track. In this live release Kaweh sings in Spanish and Italian and he captivates the audience with his fast rasgueado, his combination of picado and western picking and his sweet melodies, which people whistle and hum after the concert.

Internationally acclaimed Belly Dancer "Sandra" and Israely educator percussionist Dror Sinai mesmerize the audience with a one of a kind performance as KAWEH opens up the concert with "Persia" from the "Play Spanish" album. Sandra and Dror return mid set to give yet another powerful mystifying performance on the songs "Sahhra" and "Play Spanish" that leave the audience chanting.

The international all star line up of musicians include MACSA Latino Hall of Fame nominee, congero, Edgardo Cambon from Uruguay who gives a fiery performance on "Cumbanchero" and vocalist/guitarist Kenia Rodriguez from Havana Cuba who sings the group's new vocal track "Guajira".

Drummer/percussionist Louie Flores Jr. from Mexico and bassist Mark Kraft from Morgan Hill, CA together with Kaweh celebrate their 5th year performing together. Their tight and diverse rhythms can best be described as Rumba Flamenca, Mediterranean & Latin.
