Switzerland County (IN) Tourism is seeking vendors for their annual Sleepy Hollow Arts and Crafts Fair. The event will be held Sat. Oct. 4 from 9am-4pm in downtown Vevay.

Along with arts and crafts, the event features a car show, apple pie baking contest, pumpkin decorating contest, make your own scarecrow, artist demonstrations, delicious food and more.

Free vendor booth space is available around the historic courthouse square, but is limited and obtainable only by preregistering. Tourism will accommodate booth sizes per individual vendors needs.

No preregistration is required for the car and tractor show. Entries must arrive at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park between 8am-12pm. Judging will take place from noon until 3pm.

Entries in the apple pie baking contest must be delivered to the Switzerland County Visitors Center between 10-11:30am.

On August 9, CraftaNostra craft show will offer up an eclectic mix of handmade goods and artwork by some the most creative artists and crafters in town—the St. Louis Craft Mafia. At CraftaNostra, Craft Mafia members will lash out against the commercialized corporate world of strip malls and cookie cutter gifts by showing their love of DIY goods. Twenty-five plus St. Louis Craft Mafia members will feature their work, including jewelry, plush, original artwork, clothing, women’s accessories, sassy household items, baby gear and pet collars, all in a handmade paradise at CooperElla Café & Boutique. The café will be open to sell drinks and snacks, plus DJ Rabbitt will play tunes throughout the evening.

WHAT IS CON-X-TREME?

CON-X-TREME is volunteer-run event held this year over the extended Labor Day weekend at the San Mateo Marriott Hotel. The primary area of emphasis is focused on the creation of art and other media, traditional and non-traditional, without the limitation of holding true to a certain theme or topic.
While some may view this as simply it is another anime or science fiction convention event, the real opportunities this event brings forward is an opportunity for fans of all mediums to meet and network with both other fans and professionals alike. Whether it be physical art, virtual art, film & television, video games or music, CON-X-TREME attempts to have compelling, knowledgeable, and well-spoken Guests of Honor who are willing to spend time sharing their experiences within their respective industries, mentoring our attendees through discussion panels, classroom instruction, and other programming events.
Throughout each day of the weekend event, CON-X-TREME presents curriculum through a series of classroom programming where event members may participate in the discussion or hands-on study of particular subjects.
CON-X-TREME is not all classrooms, lectures, and study however, as we temper much of the proceeding with many other programming alternatives including, but not limited to, the following:
v A 24-hour anime programming room featuring professional and fan-created animation videos and programs;
v A room dedicated to premiering the latest in console and computer video games and technology;
v Dedicated space for costume gatherings and workshops which will culminate in a full costume contest event;
v Event space which promotes and displays artwork from many of the Bay Area’s most vibrant and popular artists;
All in all, CON-X-TREME aspires to provide opportunities for the truly creative side of fans and professionals to mix freely within an environment which inspires creativity and spontaneity.

This is a FUN event with very nice Entrant's Choice Awards.
This is not a "trailer queen" competition so all British cars in any condition are welcome. We do have lots of trophies based on entrants only voting. We also have a contest of who will have the best OIL SPOT on paper under their car! Points are also given for style!
Saturday morning, October 11 th, we will lead a tour in the Sierra Foothills returning to Old Town in time for lunch at a special place.
The Fall "Clovis Antique & Collectables Fair" will also run for six blocks just north of our event. Stroll through the many Antique shops, dine at the downtown restaurants or street food vendors.
