Darren Steele, a veteran of Microsoft, Ethix Media and Access Software, serves as the company’s vice president of publishing and marketing. Prior to joining the company in 2007, Mr. Steele had over 12 years of experience responsible for the product marketing for more than 30 consumer software brands. He worked for 7 years as a senior marketer at Microsoft, where he led the marketing efforts for a $200 million Xbox games product line and a $300 million segment of the U.S. Windows XP business. After leaving Microsoft, Mr. Steele joined Ethix Media, where he led the marketing team of a consumer technology start up company through launch of the web application Homeminders as the vice president of marketing. Previously, Mr. Steele worked at Access Software, the creators of the bestselling Links™ golf franchise, where he served as the director of marketing prior to the company’s acquisition by Microsoft in 1999. Mr. Steele earned his BA in advertising and MBA from Brigham Young University.

BEN MILLER uses Alto and C-Tenor saxophones as source material for electronic and tape manipulation. Incorporating multiple foot pedals, tape decks and analog synth, he sets up a wall of dense frequencies through feedback and slow-paced improvisation. In 1977, Miller played alto sax in the art-punk band Destroy All Monsters (featuring Ron Asheton from The Stooges and Michael Davis from The MC5). He currently plays sax and composes for The Push-Pull Quartet having just released their first CDR "At The Stroke of Twelve" on Tiger Asylum Records, as well as being the composer/conductor for his 15-member ensemble, The Sensorium Saxophone Orchestra. N_DREW (Andrew Bucksbarg) creates audio-visual/ VJ performances and interactive works, exploring organic and abstract forms, live A/V processes and participatory techno-culture, enthralling audiences with images, beats, ambient sounds and pixilated atmospheres. He is a media artist, experimental interaction designer, audio-visual performer and a professor in the Department of Telecommunications, Indiana University. JONATHAN ZORN is a composer/sound artist/performer currently living in Charlottesville, Virginia. He likes to make sounds using his voice, double bass, guitar, accordion, modular synthesizer and computer. Known for working with bass busting DJs, MalLabel reaches out to the live music scene, this time presenting San Francisco's MO2 (mo2music.com).

MO2 has developed a unique and explosive sound by combining four-on-the-floor dance breaks with contagious pop hooks and ethereal progressions, allowing them national recognition in their debut year. The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2008, with the honors for the Creative Arts to be held eight days earlier on Saturday, September 13. The ceremony will be televised live (tape delay on the west coast) on ABC.

it was announced that both the Primetime ceremony and Creative Arts ceremonies would move into the newly-opened 7,100 seat Nokia Theatre at the L.A. Live entertainment complex in Downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to the Staples Center. The Governor's Ball is scheduled to take place at the nearby Los Angeles Convention Center.
