Created by two Salem web geeks, <a rel="nofollow" HREF="http://www.marcamos.com/">Marc Amos</a> and <a rel="nofollow" HREF="http://www.cssboy.com/">Angelo Simeoni</a>, the <a rel="nofollow" HREF="http://www.buildguild.org/">Build Guild</a> is a monthly event (Every 2<sup>nd</sup> Tuesday of the month) where folks in the web industry (designers, coders, project managers, hobbyists, etc.) can get together to talk web, debate industry topics, share ideas, make professional connections, land gigs, and discuss the real reasons why mustaches need to make a comeback.<br /><br />

How do big companies go about aligning site experiences for distinct but varied user groups? Progressive Insurance has recently undergone this task and will share the process, the challenges and the outcome of their alignment effort.<br /><br />
For the past ten years, Nicole Capuana has been designing and developing web sites and transactional applications that are used by multiple user groups. Getting her start in Seattle during the dot com bust, she has since relocated to the Cleveland area and has found great opportunities to further develop her craft. Most recently she has focusd on IA within the enterprise and has completed the first alignment of web standards for Progressive&#39;s servicing realm.<br />
