Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) is bringing its global phenomenon, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), to the Los Angeles Convention Center to kick-off the 2010 SHONEN JUMP Championship series, the largest and most prestigious competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournament series in North America. Hundreds of Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players will descend upon the City of Angels to showcase their skills, but only one will be crowned the winner.

The Top 16 finalists can win SHONEN JUMP Championship Game Mats, popular personal video game consoles with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010 Reverse of Arcadia, a copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tagforce 4 video game, a popular videogame console, a 32 GB personal music player with docking station and speakers, a paid trip to the winner's 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG National Championship and a complimentary subscription to SHONEN JUMP magazine.

Adding a level of prestige to the event, the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's SHONEN JUMP Championship prize card "Dark End Dragon" will be given to the winner of the event, along with second and third place.
