I'm a Ph.D. student in the dept. of Sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I play the guitar and do some vocals in a local thrash/hardcore/power violence band called billy knuckles (www.billyknuckles.com or myspace.com/billyknuckleslincoln) and love taking photos. My favorite thing to photograph is live bands, but I really want to get into photographing landscapes and portraits. I have just recently started shooting digital images, but still love film. I just simply find myself short on time, and too impatient to wait for film to be processed.
