You found me, Johnny Chandler redneck from Alabama! I grew up in rural northeast Alabama where I got my start working in chicken houses. I would travel to Tennessee to hills and work with my uncle. My first week I took 150 and bought my first electric guitar and started playing some funky stuff.

Then I got a job working for the group Alabama in Fort Payne Alabama and took my first check and went down to Rogers pawn and found a Yamaha Acoustic in the corner piled with dust. I bought the Yammy that day and still own it to this day.

I haven’t put it down and it has been 17 years since I bought that Yamaha. I am a blogger now and love to talk about life and share my journey. I look back at my life and wish I would have written it all down to share. You would not believe where I have been and how I got there.
