With over 10 years experience in community building, Erica applies interdisciplinary approaches to technology assessment, management and creation. She holds a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from, Mills College and Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of California, Davis where she was mentored by many outstanding Chicana feminist scholars. She is currently helping parents and children make good media decisions through her work at www.commonsensemedia.org.

In her free time she enjoys jogging, listening to Shakira and Juanes in perpetuity, reading, blogging, and Twittering.
