About
RunaDun Film Production is an Independent American film studio founded by Sacramento California film maker D. R. Hirschberg (Dana Richard Hirschberg) in 2007. The RunaDun name followed D. R. Hirschberg to his new company as it was originally created for the still existing web design company which has since adopted the new name of RunaDun Web Design.
History
With RunaDun Web Design fully operational since 2001 a new film making arm was created to fulfill D. R. Hirschberg’s dream of creating motion pictures. It was reported that RunaDun Film Production was started after listening to a Quentin Tarantino interview on the Mark and Brian radio program. Since that time RFP has produced a two Heinz TV commercials (Aspiring Heinz Cows & Heinz Dinner Sound), three short films called 2008: An Egg Odyssey (Part Two), Rise N’ Shine, and Chronicles: A Backyard Story, and a handful of other small projects.
Current
Currently in production are five short stories named Shadows, Kenny, 2008: An Egg Odyssey (Part One), The Garage, and Death Delivery. Shadows was originally outlined as a feature film but never fully developed. This project has been rewritten into a 30-minute short film and currently awaits second draft. The goal was to begin shooting Shadows in late 2008 however the timeline has been pushed forward to an undisclosed date. The other four projects await screenplays to be written but have rough outlines started and expect to shoot sometime late 2008, early 2009.
