Hotel Utah Open Mic, volunteer photographer

On Monday nights, I volunteer as a photographer of The Hotel Utah Open Mic in San Francisco - a residency which I cherish and a community that I told dear. Event coverage is published online.

Observations

Music photography brings many challenges to the photographer - both from a technical standpoint -and- understanding that it is a complicated relationship of unspoken expectations, misunderstandings and assumptions.
