Amicus Books was created to provide tools for our community members to realize and achieve their dreams. Books are one tool for gathering information about our goals, as is writing and working creatively with others - this is the inspiration behind establishing Amicus Books as a Literary Arts Center and Community Bookstore.

Amicus Books is committed to:

* Fostering meaningful communication and self- expression through the process of reading and writing.
* Offering a wide variety of reading subjects, including Non-Fiction (all areas of interest), Current and Classic Fiction, Local History, and Children's Books.

* Providing literary events and writing workshops.

* Promoting young writers.

* Building a strong support network of writers, authors, poets, illustrators, editors and publishers.
