VEGA Natklub is a part of VEGA House of Music. The well-known house on Vesterbro dates back to 1956 and is designed by the famous Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, who is also known for several of the period's architectural pearls such as the Radio House (Radiohuset) and the old terminal in Copenhagen Airport. Today, VEGA is one of the youngest listed buildings in Denmark, and the house's originality gives it a unique atmosphere. VEGA's interior with dark wooden panelling, mahogany floors, friezes, and many original details in banisters, balustrades, lamps etc. makes the house an exceptional example of Scandinavian architecture.


A beautiful set

The fine sense of detail continues in the decor of VEGA Natklub. For example, in VEGA Lounge on the top floor of the club, you can enjoy how the furniture and the cocktail bar gracefully compliment the original room. The open couch environments that crawl along the beautiful light walls of birchen veneer, the large panorama windows facing Vesterbro together with the cocktail bar make up the hart of the room. It's tempting to say that no matter where you are in the room, you'll be in the spot light, be seen and be able to follow everything that is going on, which undeniably is a part of going out.

Architectural elegance and inventive design

In the lounge's other room the custom-made dj booth is a part of an open couch arrangement ? a natural center for the intimate party on the dance floor. Half of the room has large discrete panorama windows towards the street, and in the opposite end, next to the untraditional sitting/lying arrangement, is a smaller bar. Four small Arne Jacobsen lamps hang from the impressive non-parallel ceiling (collected from hundreds of thin wooden lists) and fight to draw attention away from the spirituous temptations that hang along side the everywhere present wooden friezes. The wooden friezes are the key inspiration behind VEGA Natklub's dynamic logo.
