Originally built as stables for the Prince of Wales in 1805, it was converted into a concert hall in 1867 and modernised in 1935. The Dome's 1935 Art Deco interior was be restored and revitalised to offer an 1800 capacity auditorium/theatre. Re-opened in Spring 2002.
