Not only is The Laugh Factory legendary for giving the most famous names in comedy their first break, but it also retains a reputation for being the best comedy club in LA. You can always expect to see a line for this club along the corner of Sunset and Laurel every night. Arrive late or without a reservation and there is a good chance you won?t get in. Also, don?t be surprised if a famous name such as Dane Cook or Dave Chappelle stops by unannounced for an impromptu performance on any given night.

The list of celebrity comics that got their start on the Laugh Factory stage is legendary with Jon Lovitz being the current celebrity Wednesday night staple. In addition to having the most well known talent perform nightly, the club is also a historical landmark. One little known fact about this club is that the current founder/owner hand picked the late Richard Pryor to be the very first comic to perform on this stage. Other comics who got their start here include Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock, Jim Carrey and Dane Cook.
