Espresso Vivace has opened a new, 2000 square ft. espresso bar at 227 Yale Ave N., in Alley 24 across from REI. Alley 24 represents our sincere effort to create a place to savor our Northern Italian espresso in a setting as beautiful as the coffee itself. Right next to I-5, with plenty of parking compared to Capitol Hill, this store is the place for our traveling Vivace lovers.
Permanent art installations include a mural under the bar illustrating history of the espresso painted entirely using espresso coffee as the pigment by artist Karen Eland. In the floor we have installed mosaic tile renderings of our coffee art patterns, shown here is our world famous caffe latte rosetta. We also have commissioned another mural by Italian master Kurt Wenner entitled ?Vivi Vivace I Vizu e le Virtu? (Live intensely your vices and virtues).
