just off lake union, the ss marie antoinette (ssma) is not really a boat. it is just a warehouse that wishes for the opulence of a ship, and it's a good thing it can't float as it has proven itself to be less than seaworthy (despite the need of a bilge pump and star to sail her by).

the ssma is 4000 square feet of artist work and exhibition space. we host visual art, music, film, installations, readings and other performances in the bow (the front of the warehouse).

when more room is required, the stern (the back of the warehouse) is sometimes transformed into an exhibition space (but not often as this is tory's work space).
