Description:
ADCA the Alameda Depot Civic Assocition holds monthly meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month in the WIA building at the corner of Reymond and Court across from Pioneer Womens Park. This building was the original water service for the park and neighborhood and the original library in Las Cruces. The neighborhood is a listed state and federal Historic District. It arose out of the coming of the railroad in the middle late 1800's and is one of the most eclectic mix of building styles in existence for any single neighborhood of it's kind in the southwest.
The RailRoad museum is in the neighborhood and is listed as well. We also have the Mesquite Historic District just blocks away on the other side of downtown.
