The Hand Workshop Art Center brings art to the community and the community to art by promoting the creation, collection, and appreciation of diverse visual arts to educate and inspire the community and the artists within it. Affiliate support for the Hand Workshop Art Center is provided by investors in the ArtsFund, grants from the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the Arts and Cultural Funding Consortium and the National Endowment for the Arts.
