A lavishly decorated European-style hall providing a unique atmosphere for swing dancing and club nights.

The Scene
This beautiful North Beach space features a 40-foot-high ceiling. The main room houses a large hardwood dance floor, fully equipped main stage, small bar and wraparound balcony. The burgundy-colored walls are adorned with art-deco pieces and flowing draperies. An adjoining bar room provides a pleasant chill space with glass-paneled walls and a small outside area with views of the city. Built in 1911, the studio has gone through many incarnations, including a boxing ring, speakeasy and theater.

The Draw
The crowd varies depending on the night's entertainment. There are regular swing-dance lessons on Tuesday nights and a songwriter's showcase on Thursdays. On weekend nights, the club may host a raucous DJ scene or live blues band.
