The new Centre provides 16000 m2 of flexible interior space with all the services expected from a modern international exhibition centre. The main exhibition hall will be divisible into four smaller halls by means of moveable partitions. Each smaller hall, all of which will be separately accessible, will be served by a two storey central core housing a kitchen, a restaurant and the exhibition organisers offices. This concept will mean that as many as five events could conceivably take place at ADIEC at the same time. The building will be clad in a combination of decorative exterior masonry and aluminium sandwich panels using insulated cavity wall construction. Windows and skylights will incorporate high performance, tinted low reflective glass.
