The Centre is the premiere public recreational facility in the region. Completed in November 2002, the facility meets the indoor recreational needs of the community. The 184,722 square-foot state-of-the-art facility provides a plethora of recreational and fitness programs. The Centre features a 1/8th mile running/walking track, 9,600 square foot health/fitness center, indoor rock climbing area, racquetball courts, three swimming pools, gymnasium, banquet facilities and arts/crafts studios. The Parks & Recreational Department also
